Adam's History
Adam Riggs was raised in Riverside, California, at Lake Hills Christian Center, an Assemblies of God church where he first felt the call to ministry at a young age. While still in high school, he stepped into leadership as a youth leader, beginning a lifelong commitment to serving the local church.
After graduation, Adam enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed a strong foundation in technology, communications, and systems operations. During his eight years of service, he completed three deployments, including a combat deployment in 2021. His time in the military shaped both his technical skillset and his discipline, leadership, and ability to perform under pressure.
Following his military service, Adam continued pursuing his calling in ministry, serving as the Assistant Pastor of his home church for five years. During this time, he also began building and managing websites and IT systems for churches, recognizing the growing need for strong, reliable technology in ministry.
In 2024, Adam felt led to relocate his family to Casa Grande, Arizona, where he continues to serve both the Church and his local community. He is a Licensed Minister with the Arizona Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God and currently serves as a Chaplain with the local Police Department, providing care and support during critical moments in people’s lives.
Adam has been working in church technology since 2015, helping ministries build their online presence, implement systems like Planning Center, and navigate the ever-changing digital landscape. Through Adam The Tech Guy, his mission is simple: to equip churches and Christian businesses with the tools, systems, and support they need to reach people effectively and operate with excellence.
